Ministry Coordinator (full time)

Love Link is seeking applicants with a clear calling to serve in urban areas and to oversee transformational ministries. This full-time ministry position is perfect for an optimistic, self-starter capable of leading teams, facilitating multiple projects simultaneously, and approaching new challenges in innovative ways.

This is not a behind-the-scenes or behind-a-desk job! This position is designed for someone with boundless energy and a deep passion to see people’s hearts transformed at the same time that their neighborhoods are transformed.

Deadline:

Primary Roles:
1) Provide big-picture leadership to all of Love Link’s major ministries and programs, including the Food Pantry, the Thrift Store, and several new ministries that will be launched soon.
2) Networking and collaborating with leaders in other ministries and non-profits in Oklahoma City.
3) Serve on the Love Link Core Leadership Team.
4) In collaboration with the Core Leadership Team, design and implement innovative ministries and creative solutions for transforming people and places in Oklahoma City.


Hiring Criteria:
1) College/University degree required. Preference will be given to applicants with degrees in ministry, urban studies, non-profit management, or related fields.
2) Preference will be given to applicants with work experience in churches, non-profits, or other Christian ministries.

2. Part Time Job Openings

Food Pantry Assistant
Love Link is seeking a food pantry assistant who loves people and wants to help diminish food insecurity in Oklahoma City. This ministry position is perfect for someone who is organized, reliable, flexible, good at following instructions, and quick to jump in and get things done. This role does require frequent standing, walking (including ramps and stairs), lifting (boxes and food items), loading and unloading shelves, and maneuvering pallets of food with a pallet jack.

Facilities Assistant
Love Link is seeking a facilities assistant who will work closely with the facilities manager in a wide variety of maintenance, repair, remodeling, and construction projects in the Love Link building. This ministry position is perfect for someone who is reliable, who is handy with tools, who enjoys learning/improving skills, who is good at following instructions, and who is dedicated to seeing projects through to completion. This role does require frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and working with a variety of tools.

Preference will be given to applicants with skills/experience in any or all of the following: electric work, plumbing, welding, carpentry, driving a forklift, and driving a scissor lift.
